Comparing India’s White Tea to Ceylon White Tea
Chinese white tea is without doubt one of the fastest growing teas from the point of popularity. People all over the world who love tea are amazed at all the unique varieties. Because of this, we see more and more tea companies now providing samples. Although China produces most of the world’s white tea, Japan is also become a large producer.
Along with these two Asian countries, we also see other countries now growing white tea to include India and Sri Lanka. The challenge is that while many people understand white tea grown in Asia, they are unfamiliar with this kind of tea coming from any other country. However, as the popularity of white tea continues to expand, it will not be long before white tea from all countries is recognized.

The Grading System for White Tea
Today, white tea is growing in popularity around the world. Historians tell us that Chinese white tea was first enjoyed from 618 to 907 AD during the Tang Dynasty. Now, countries around the globe are discovering the same light and delicate flavor.
Then from 960 to 1279 AD in the Song Dynasty, Hui Zhong, the Emperor tasted white tea and found it was delicate and elegant. Making a declaration to this fact, the popularity of white tea skyrocketed, which led to gardens throughout China growing this variety. As a part of growing interest, a new method for processing white tea was developed, fondly named the Song Method.

White Persian Melon Tea: India or Ceylon?
Of all tea blends ever made, White Persian Melon Tea is without doubt the best. The only problem is that since white tea in general is rare, finding it, especially this blend, can be challenging but not impossible. Although this blend is made from a base of different white teas, some are better than others are.
Depending on the white tea used, White Persian Melon Tea would have a distinct flavor and aroma. Although the majority of white tea is grown in Asia, primarily China and Japan, it is also commonly grown in India and Sri Lank, specifically Ceylon. Both of these regions of the world are catching up to Asia by producing some of the finest white tea grown.
When tasting White Persian Melon Tea made with white tea from India or Ceylon compared to Chinese white tea, you would notice a different taste and aroma.

Green Tea – Ceylon versus Indian
The majority of green tea produced in the world comes from China and Japan with China being the initial country that created tea.
Hundreds of years ago, before innovative processing methods were developed leaves were simply set outside where they dried in the sun. After drying, leaves would then be stored. Thanks to the creation of Chinese green tea, it is now the favorite of all tea varieties in the world.
While black tea soon followed and was a welcomed choice, green tea is still the most valued.
